Bold Taste No Rules

Burns Road is not just a name. It is a place. A real street in Karachi, Pakistan — one of the most famous food streets in South Asia, home to restaurants that have fed generations since the 1940s. A stretch of road where the air smells like slow-cooked nihari, fresh poori hits hot oil before sunrise, and every corner tells a story through food.

Burgers are an American icon, enjoyed everywhere from backyard barbecues to bustling city diners. At Burns Road, we’re taking it further. We take grass-fed smash burger craft and run it through Burns Road — house-made South Asian spice blends, bold and unapologetic, the way street food is meant to be.

Burns Road the restaurant was born from that same spirit: the belief that this food deserves a home in Orange County. Smash burgers. An outdoor hookah patio. A traditional weekend nashta spread OC has been waiting for. All under one roof off the 55 Freeway, serving Tustin, Irvine, Santa Ana, Orange, Anaheim, and the wider Orange County area.

Featured in the Los Angeles Times, Burns Road is your spot for smash burgers and late-night vibes.

burns road south asian fusion was sooo good!! the mango burn burger was my favorite!!! the flavors were amazing and it was honestly one of the best burgers i’ve had. the staff were also so nice and accommodating. we can’t really handle a lot of spice, so they adjusted the spice level for us. it still had so much flavor and was perfect without being too spicy. the vibe was cute and the food was fresh and delicious. definitely coming back and want to try more things on the menu.

First time trying Burns Road and we weren't disappointed! We tried both the House and the Burn Smash burgers — if you're up for a kick, definitely go for the Burn Smash. Their onion rings were superb and the Dubai Chai is a must-have. Our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

If you're craving authentic Karachi-style street food vibes, Burns Road is an absolute gem! The Halwa Poori Thali hit the spot — the aaloo subzi was packed with flavor. The qeema and paratha were outstanding too. I love how they blend traditional street food with modern fusion like desi tacos, rolls and burgers. Proper dhaba vibes, plenty of parking, and certified 100%. A must-visit for any desi food lover!

They added desi food to the menu — now you can get the nashta if you don't want burgers. A one-stop shop, great for family and friends. Food, and the hookah is always clean and fresh.

Burns Road is a family-friendly, hangout-friendly restaurant! I had the Aaloo-Keema breakfast plate and watched some March Madness on the big screen. Staff and service were impeccable — Mia was very courteous and answered all my questions. They've hosted documentary screenings and musical programs too. I love the vibe — a cool place to chill!

Everything You Need to Know

Nashta, hookah, events and hours — the questions Orange County asks most.

Burns Road serves four grass-fed beef smash burgers: the Classic Smash to start, the ghost-pepper Burn Smash, the double-everything House Smash, and the Western BBQ Smash with double onion rings and BBQ sauce. Prefer chicken? The Chicken Burn layers ghost pepper cheese, Fresno chili, mango chutney, Burns Red, and raita over a seasoned tender.
Every patty starts with grass-fed beef that is antibiotic-free and hormone-free, pressed fresh to order on a hot flat top for a caramelized, crispy edge and a juicy center. The spice blends are South Asian inspired, and nothing is pre-made.
Every Burns Road burger starts with beef smashed to order on the flat top, then goes its own way — from the Classic with pickles, American cheese, and our signature spread, to the ghost-pepper Burn Smash, the loaded House Smash, and the Western BBQ Smash with double onion rings. Check the menu for the full lineup.
